Failed Messages View

The Failed Messages view displays all messages that could not be successfully sent to trading partners. These failures may occur due to connection issues, configuration problems, or message processing errors. This view allows users to review the failure details, inspect error logs, and retry sending the message when appropriate.

Understanding the Failed Messages Table

MFT Generator Failed AS2 Messages View

Recipient - The name of the trading partner who was intended to receive the message.
Subject - The subject specified when the message was created or predefined from Manage Partner view.
Failure Reason - A short description indicating the reason why the message failed to send.
Failures - The number of times the system attempted to send the message but failed.
Failed At - The timestamp indicating when the most recent failure occurred. Messages are sorted by the most recent timestamp.

Single Message Actions

Each failed message entry provides actions that allow you to manage the message individually.

Download Attachments

Downloads all attachments associated with the failed message as a zip file.

Copy ID

Copies the AS2 message ID to the clipboard.

By clicking the more options menu (⋮) you can access additional actions.

Failed Messages Single Entry Three Dot Menu

Delete

Permanently removes the failed message entry along with the transport headers and the raw message.

View Error Logs

Opens the detailed error logs related to the failed message, allowing you to review the cause of the failure.

Retry

Attempts to resend the failed message.

Redeliver Webhook Notification

Retriggers the webhook notification for the selected message. Message will be sent to the webhook endpoint configured in the webhook integration menu.

Redeliver to EDI Generator

Retriggers the delivery of the selected message event to the EDI Generator.

Actions for Selected Message(s)

Failed Messages Table Selected Action Buttons

Refresh (1)

Refreshes the failed messages table to retrieve the latest failure statuses.

When one or more messages are selected using the checkboxes, the rest of the action toolbar becomes active, allowing batch operations on the selected messages.

Redeliver Selected to Webhook Endpoint (2)

Retriggers the webhook notification for the selected messages. Messages will be sent to the webhook endpoint configured in the webhook integration menu.

Redeliver Selected to EDI Generator (3)

Retriggers the delivery of the selected message events to the EDI Generator.

Delete Selected (4)

Permanently removes all selected messages and the respective transport headers and the raw messages.

Retry Selected Message(s) (5)

Attempts to resend all selected failed messages.

Export Details (6)

Exports the details of the selected failed messages in CSV format.

Search and Filters

Search Field

Search failed messages by AS2 message identifier, message subject, attachment names, or failure reason. Select the search parameter from the dropdown next to the search field.
