The main flow of messages was with the clients safety database and Indegene’s case processing technology and operations. The requirement was to accelerate and scale the case processing services for the customer with the volume of messages per month expected to be around 400,000 messages.

One of SkyNet’s major clients required all EDI transactions to be conducted exclusively via AS2 with stringent security standards, including, Encryption - AES-256, Signing - SHA-512 (or SHA-256), Certificates - Public keys of at least 2048 bits. Meeting these requirements was essential for compliance and maintaining a key business relationship.

As they explored options for an AS2 provider, they came across AS2 Gateway. SkyNet initially considered deploying an AS2 Gateway server on its own cloud infrastructure but ultimately selected the SaaS version of AS2 Gateway. This approach delivered a fast, secure implementation while maintaining the flexibility to transition to an on premisesdeployment as transaction volumes increase.
