To become a Walmart supplier, you must be EDI capable and employ a consistent AS2 connection for internet EDI transactions, which is the standard for security and dependability in internet and cloud-based EDI solutions.
To translate and communicate with EDIINT (AS2), specialized software is required. Therefore, procure and install computer software along with any required hardware, or choose a hosted solution with dynamic capacities, based on your long-term demands.
Once you have installed and configured your AS2 software, prepare all AS2 software information, including IP address, name, and certificates, and contact the Walmart EDI Implementation team at 479-273-8888 to set up the GEM mailbox.
After you’ve swapped certificates, your firm is ready to test AS2.
Before beginning EDI data testing, a supplier must first complete AS2 testing between Walmart and the supplier, which requires at least one file to be successfully transmitted and received in order to ensure connectivity.
