Aayu Technologies LLC has recently released EDI Generator 1.3.3. This release introduces a significant upgrade to the EDI Generator by adding SFTP partner support for EDI exchange, in addition to the existing AS2 partner capabilities. SFTP Partner support
EDI Generator now supports secure EDI document exchange with SFTP partners, expanding integration options beyond AS2-based communication. The SFTP partner support in EDIG leverages the existing SFTP service offered by MFT Gateway to exchange EDI files with your partners with SFTP protocol. Managed Login
This release introduces Managed Login powered by Amazon Cognito, enhancing the security and reliability of user authentication in EDI Generator. By leveraging Cognito’s managed authentication capabilities, user sign-in, password management, and optional multi-factor authentication are handled through a secure, AWS-hosted login experience rather than custom-built authentication logic.
Using Cognito Managed Login allows EDI Generator to follow industry-standard security practices, reduce the risk of credential exposure, and simplify identity management. It also enables centralized user authentication, improved access control, and a consistent login experience across all Aayu technologies products.
Automated Cleanup Mechanism and adjustable data retention period
EDI Generator now introduces an automated cleanup mechanism from February 1st, 2026 onwards to help manage long-term storage usage and associated costs. Previously, messages were retained indefinitely unless manually deleted by users. With this enhancement, a default data retention period of 6 months, with the flexibility to adjust the retention period at the tenant level upon request. By automatically removing older data, this feature would not only optimize storage usage but also would contribute to reducing the overall carbon footprint of the platform.
EDI Validation enhancements with the ability to locate the errors within the form
EDI Generator 1.3.3 introduces enhanced EDI validation capabilities with the ability to precisely locate validation errors directly within the form. When an EDI document contains validation issues, the system now highlights the specific fields or sections where errors occur, enabling users to quickly identify and correct problems without manually scanning the entire document.
