Aayu Technologies LLC has recently released EDI Generator 1.1.3; this release introduces a significant upgrade to the EDI Generator: a redesignedEDI validation engine, a more powerful EDI editor that supports all outgoing X12 document types, expanded search and data-export capabilities, improved error display, and operational features such as a message statistics dashboard and missing-FA notifications. The focus is faster, more predictable message sending and validation, plus better operational visibility and reporting for teams exchanging EDI with partners.
Enhanced EDI Generation and Validation
We completed a major redesign of the EDI generation and validation engine. The generator now supports a tabular authoring model that greatly simplifies creating EDI documents; users can switch between a streamlined Basic editor for quick edits and a full-featured Advanced editor for complex scenarios. The validation framework has been redesigned to let teams express specification-level rules more efficiently; complex validations can be defined in a clearer, declarative style and executed more predictably against EDIs generated through this enhanced engine.
Expanded Searchable Fields - Outbox
Search across outbox documents has been extended to include many more EDI type specific fields (for example: PO number, shipment ID, and other type-specific identifiers). This expanded searching capability makes locating messages faster and more reliable regardless of document type.
Improved Error Visualization in Formatted Views
Error presentation in formatted views has been reworked. Multiple validation errors are surfaced individually and in-context (instead of stacked) with user-friendlier error descriptions, making it easier to identify and understand the exact issues quickly.
Expanded Segment & Element Coverage (Outbox, Load Tender, Inbox)
We extended support for additional EDI segments and elements across the Outbox, Load Tender, and Inbox formatted views. This increases compatibility with more partner specifications and reduces the need for custom mappings in common scenarios.
Universal Outgoing EDI Creation
The new EDI editor now supports creation of any outgoing EDI X12 document type (no longer limited to a pre-defined subset), in addition to the existing main outgoing types that have first level support. This support can be configured from the Organization Settings of your account.
Export Outgoing Message (Outbox) Details to CSV for Reporting
You can now export outgoing message metadata and key document details as CSV directly from the web app for reporting and analysis.
Message Statistics Dashboard + CSV Export
A new statistics dashboard provides an overview of exchanged messages for any selected date range. The dashboard supports exporting the underlying data to CSV so teams can perform offline analysis or feed metrics into external reporting tools.
Missing Functional Acknowledgment (FA) Alerts
Users can enable notifications for outgoing messages that have not received a Functional Acknowledgment (FA) within a pre-defined time. This behavior is configurable in Organization Settings and helps teams detect and act on missing partner acknowledgments proactively.
